Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez attended Affleck’s son’s basketball game in Los Angeles on June 2. The couple showed affection amid strain in their marriage. They reunited on Sunday, June 2, at Affleck’s 12-year-old son Samuel’s game in Santa Monica, California.
The pair were pictured sharing a kiss on the cheek as they greeted each other. They then headed inside the YMCA with Affleck’s mother, Chris Anne Boldt. Lopez, 54, wore a black long-sleeved top and blue jean. Affleck, 51, sported blue jeans, a maroon T-shirt, red corduroy, and a shearling jacket. He was seen wearing his wedding ring and carrying a basketball.
Affleck’s ex-wife and Samuel’s mom, Jennifer Garner, also attended the game. The couple’s outing comes shortly after Lopez canceled her summer tour. On May 31, Lopez announced that her This Is Me… Live tour was canceled. According to a statement from Live Nation, she is taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.

Lopez expressed her feelings in a statement on the JLo website: “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel necessary.”

The tour was initially set to run from June to August. The day before canceling her tour, Lopez was with Affleck at his daughter Violet’s graduation ceremony. The duo showed a united front, holding hands at the event. Affleck’s other children, Samuel and Seraphina, 15, and Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme, 16, were also there.
A source previously told PEOPLE that the couple’s relationship is “not in the best place at the moment.” They eloped in Las Vegas in July 2022. They live separately, with Lopez in their Beverly Hills home and Affleck in a rental a few miles away.
